Wellness Walk - Ilkley Moor from the Cow and Calf, followed by drinks!

  • Cow and Calf rocks car park cow and calf rock climbing LS29 8BT United Kingdom (map)

We are back in Ilkley for Mountain Boardroom's April Wellness Walk!

Join us in one of our favourite local locations, Ilkley Moor for our monthly Wellness Walk! We have a lovely 2 1/2 hour route planned on a Friday afternoon, starting and ending at the Cow and Calf.

Get away from your desk, out of the office and give yourself some time and space for you, away from all the distractions, all while getting the steps in and chatting with some like-minded spirits.

Exercise your mind

As always, our walks offer a great opportunity to get outdoors and network with other local business owners and professionals, in a stunning location and with a relaxed atmosphere.

The Walk

There are so many amazing routes across Ilkley Moor, and event though we return here often, there is always something new to explore! This time, we will meet, ready to walk, at 1330 in the Cow and Calf car park.

We'll head up and east across the edge of the moor, taking in views of Wharfedale, The Chevin, Almscliffe Crag on a clear day, and the Vale of York, before heading up onto the moor, and looping around to the Twelve Apostles stone circle. We'll take in the views into Airedale, before heading back down to the lovely Ilkley Tarn, before climbing back up to the Cow and Calf rocks and back at the cars for about 4pm.

For those who fancy it, we’ll then head across to the Cow and Calf inn across the road, where we'll get the first drink in for everyone.

This event will be guided by Ant at the Mountain Boardroom.
