Navigation Skills and Business: Learn how to navigate in the wild while learning to navigate your business!

Ready to head for the mountains, but wish you were more confident in map-reading?

There is so much that navigating in the outdoors can teach us about navigating our business, so we are running a very special walkshop this month, as we combine learning ACTUAL outdoor skills with reflections on how these skills also apply to running your business!

This is for you if:

  • You want to head out, deep into the hills and mountains on your own, but are worried about getting lost

  • You are looking for a fun, yet useful activitiy to help to connect, share stories and build relationships with other business owners

  • You are curious about how navigation skills can help you make smart decisions in your business

In February, Mountain Boardroom are running our Navigation Skills and Business Walkshop

We will be taking you and a small, intimate group onto Cracoe Fell in the Yorkshire Dales, to:

🗺️ Become familiar with how to read an OS map, and understand what everything on it means

🏔️ Understand how to use the map to find places around you and plan enjoyable routes

🧭 Learn how a map and compass can get you out of trouble when you are lost

At every step we will be looking at how the skills can reflect back onto your business. How do you find your True North? Which route should you choose? How do you get the lay of the land?

The Walk

We will meet in the village of Cracoe, North Yorkshire, at 1230.

Please grab lunch/brunch beforehand. The walkshop ends in Cracoe, where we will head to the Devonshire Arms for pizza and a drink (included in your ticket)

We will supply maps and compasses to use on the day. A briefing document will be sent out at least 48 hours before the walk, but if you have any questions about equipment, or want some recommendations, please do get in touch.

This event will be guided by Ant at the Mountain Boardroom.
